Maintaining Membership - Scheme for Jersey

In order to remain members of the Scheme, Approved Certifiers of Design (Building Structures) (ABD) and Approved Bodies for Certification of Design (Building Structures) (ACD) are required to:

• Provide SER Ltd annually with a copy of a completed form describing their Continued Professional Development during the year
• Comply with regular audit checks
• Provide evidence annually to SER Ltd by the Body that appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) covering the certification work is being maintained
• Advise SER Ltd if they change employer or their employer changes name. If the Approved Certifier of Design (Building Structures) wishes to continue to be able to sign certificates, their new employer will need to register with SER Ltd
• Pay fees promptly
• Adhere to SER Ltd Code of Conduct
