Payment Details - Scheme for Scotland
There is a joining fee for individuals or firms, public bodies or other organisations applying to be registered as an Approved Certifier or Approved Body for Certification of Design (ACD or ABD).
The initial joining fee required from individuals is £25. Annual renewal fee is £25 plus VAT.
The initial joining fee required from Companies is £100. Annual renewal fee is £100 plus VAT.
The joining fee required from sole practitioners is £75 plus VAT. The initial individual joining fee of £25 plus VAT is payable and a (discounted) rate of £50 plus VAT is payable from Sole Practitioners applying to be registered as an Approved Body for Certification of Design (Building Structures).
A reminder will be sent out to pay the annual renewal fee one month before it becomes due. If this fee remains unpaid one month after the due date, the registration of the Approved Certifier of Design (Building Structures) (ACD) or Approved Body for Certification of Design (Building Structures) (ABD) will be suspended. If the fee remains unpaid after 3 months in total, the ACD or ABD will be removed from the Scheme.
If membership lapses and the ACD or ABD would like to re-join the Scheme, the individual/Company will need to re-register using the application form on-line, submit full payment of the subscription and provide proof of Continuing Professional Development.
