Guidance Notes 11 and 12
Revised versions of Guidance Note 11: Guidelines for Checking the Structural Design of Buildings and Guidance Note 12: Guidance on the Use of the Building Risk Matrix were published 17 January 2023.
The revised version of Guidance Note 12 provides clarity on the actions that should be taken where the Building Risk Group taken from the matrix is difficult to determine or where it appears to be inappropriate.
Mentoring and Suspension with Mentoring
Procedures for Mentoring and Suspension with Mentoring were also published 17 January 2023. These were previously included in the 2016 Audit Procedures but have been revised and expanded to provide clarity on the processes and are now published separately.
