Scheme Members' Acceptable Use Policy for the Structural Engineers Registration Limited (SER) website
In using the Structural Engineers Registration Limited (SER) website ("the Website"), members of the SER Scheme agree to be bound by this Acceptable Use Policy, the Scheme Guide, the Terms and Conditions, Conditions of Use, Rules of Conduct, Copyright, Data Protection, and the Privacy Policy.
It is essential that all the information you provide through the Website and in emails, telephone conversations, and paper correspondence is correct, and SER relies on Scheme members to provide this information.
In consideration of your use of the Website, you agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about you and your business when completing the signup process.
- Maintain and promptly update your registration data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your membership of the Scheme.
You agree that you will not use the Website to:
- post any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
- impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity or disguise the origin of any content;
- post any content that infringes any intellectual property rights of any party;
- act in a manner contrary to the Scheme Guide, in particular the “Code of Conduct”.
Any misuse of this Website will result in action by SER and may lead to reference of the member to the Disciplinary Panel
